This is a space where I have a mid life crisis, write about my creative journey, and talk about songwriting and share bits of terrible poetry.

Surrender

Written in

by

Kissing and fingers graze your skin

Remember,

The afternoon,

The house empty (except for the dog)

When we found ourselves alone.

(So rare that we are alone)

And I surrendered to our love

so completely we became one

for that moment.

The memory of it stayed on my skin

My longing for you now its echo.

(This is a car trip poem. There were several. Been doing a lot of deep work, in the car, as one does).
