Sometimes it’s nice to just groove.

I wrote something on piano and actually got it to finish (in two days no less, shocking!) as a coherent thought. This is a rarity. I’m sharing here. I need to figure out another way to this now that the social media world is all screwed up. Feel free to down the pdf of audio file. I just like credit for my work. So think of me.

This is a piece that could be improvised off of. It uses a lot of barrelhouse type motifs. There are nice sections where you could just repeat the left hand motif and change up the right hand. Or you could play it as is. No rules except to find that groove. The inexorable groove.

It’s a little bit angry. The state of the world. You know why.
