This is a space where I have a mid life crisis, write about my creative journey, and talk about songwriting and share bits of terrible poetry.

Two car trip poems:

Favorite song

The isolation
When you timidly put on the song
That’s been running around your head
Like a freight train
And you know, as much as you love them,
That they don’t hear it the same;

Not everything is for everybody.
Something’s are just for you.

A New York Minute:

New York City highways
Have their own sense of time
Drive forward and watch time go backward
As every minute brings you farther from home
And there is no shortcut to get you past it.
The hulking, miraculous city rising out of the water.
Beautiful as you drive past.

But…

This may be hell.
