I sat this am and recorded two new drafts of Seek and Snowlight. Each draft is improving.

Seek I placed a capo on two to put it up a whole step. I cemented the harmony and recorded layers of the voice which are panned.

Snowlight: I re-recorded away from the mic on the porch which has a high ceiling. I layered the voice. I added the harmony and layered it.

Then feeling moved to do it I recorded a reading from the Rumi’s Big Red Book (Rumi by way of Coleman Barks) . I just opened the book and started reading. Mysticism? I’m not selling this. So I will take it down if asked bc I am definitely infringing Coleman Bark’s incredible work.

I still haven’t figured out recording the vocals. I will keep messing around until I like it. My goal is to minimally process things in garage band. That’s probably not what you are supposed to do. I am also supposed to tune my piano. I don’t care.
