Who’s up for playing the blues through the apocalypse?

This about expresses my emotions these days. This is a piece I wrote fall 2024. You think to yourself, if I write I can play it. Sometimes that is the case, but not this piece. I needed to work at it. Am still working it. It is a piece that feels like it is coming apart in places, and you need to somehow keep control of it. It is an emotional piece. I do a credible job in the recording but there are a few mistakes. As I practice I learn to not react but cover for the mistakes or leave them be.

It’s based on a barrelhouse in the left hand, which is mostly repetitive except when it’s not.

I cut some of the chord structures to make it more playable. So don’t feel like you are tied to what is written too tightly. I should go back and edit it a bit.
