This is a very sweet and short improvisation written I think shortly after the livestream ended. It uses a series of 1,4 changes with the melody floated above. The 1,4 change is a really important element to get a used to playing. In this case, it’s 7ths of chords. It’s so damn fun once you have it.

When I transcribed the rhythm I realized it was a little more complicated than it seems. Don’t stress about the dotted eighths. Just listen first and play what you hear, bc from experience I hate trying to figure out dotted eighths (we were just talking about this in choir the other night, we decide to read them straight just for the moment, to read the piece)
