This is a space where I have a mid life crisis, write about my creative journey, and talk about songwriting and share bits of terrible poetry.

On Valentine’s Day

A rant poem

To expand on this Valentine’s day and how I love you and your pure love, and your poems and songs, and words and rants, that come straight from your human heart. The things that you share show how you care, Your wild glimmerings and imaginings. And I find them like bits of gold glittering in a cold spring. I tested them with mt teeth to know how they’re true. And a carry them with me as I spin gold thread just for you.

There is just something so beautiful about you.

About all of you.

About you virtual people I will most likely never meet.

The ones who will never be famous, who are never given a seat.

But they were not waiting to be asked to the dance.

They got up and started moving at their first chance.

They don’t asked to get payed.

And sometimes won’t even get layed.

This is the heartbreak, the great undoing.

So let’s not hold back and keep on moving.

Cause I’m with you rooting from my corner.

My lonely and lovely sweet sojourner.
