I’m looking for you signs
Trying to read inbetween the lines.
Growin up paid so many fines.
Trying to fit between the tynes,
And all im owing you is my mind.
The quick flash of light
In your dark night.
Just coincidence
Or some real insight.
A smile crossing my lips
Warm your face to embrace
The funny things dancing on the tips
Toes cold floors, the bitter taste.
Round we go
What is known?
But we are kept from drown
In the ebb and the flow.
What are we when we have nothing left?
We have been left bereft.
Floating on an endless sea
For an eternity.
Nothing firm to stand upon,
If only I could get a hand upon
And steer it into relief.
