The subject of Donzo came up over a $4 pitcher of beer.

We had been ghosted by a ghost
But I was the one haunting the chat
And we were all haunted by experience.

Od.  had asked them if they would be there.
They were evasive.
I am actually suprised they answered at all.
I think they are still in the chat and occasionally look.
Although I don’t know Rhythmn might not even be Donzo.

Pumpkin asked if we thought they were using AI.
Possible? 
I’m no expert nor do I care to be.
They weren’t writing into the chat like I did.
Probably copy past from a notebook.
The songs were good but polished.
Not like mine, but I don’t know what I’m doing.

I thought it might be an inside job.
They seemed to know some things but not others and occasionally spoke with authority when conspiracy theories started bouncing around late one night.

We felt very safe there.
Maybe we shouldn’t have.
I went to Brooklyn bc of that chat,
Which looking back was maybe a dangerous thing to do, but NYC tends to swallow you whole and there is a safety in that.
Whatever Donzo was they didn’t seem malicious.
But I have a hard time thinking the moderator would have let them impersonate unless they knew what was going on.
Probably they had a good laugh.

And I have to ask would any of us be there in Eau Claire without Donzo?
They kindof started it.
The showed up the same time I did as best anyone can remember.

I’m curious .
On some level I’d like to know,
But also it doesn’t matter.
They can keep their secrets if they want to.
Doesn’t change anything.
Part of it was the not knowing.
I wanted to believe even though I also knew.

The meeting was unimportant.
