The driver is looking out for us.
It’s very sweet.
But we don’t need a reminder.
We have heard enough stories to know.

It’s second nature to us.
Guard your drinks, be aware.

Even in Eau Claire.

It’s hard enough for me physically
(being here)
that I just push electrolytes
And it does the job.

I have exactly one shandy, sitting about on second base.
Sitting there feeling a little down and out.
Just another moment to move through.
Me and a can of beer and some music.

Ahh….almost like you thought of me,

I’m not really here alone.
I just lost the friends for a moment,
Will find them later, before the big sets.

There is always something cold in the fridge.

(Summer Shandy, leinenkugel, especially on draft is one of my favorite beers. It is a little tough finding it during the summer in Boston. Sometimes the chat has it, but not this year. Dogfish 60 minute ipa is also a standard. Both were represented at festival, A+ on the beer selection,  though I only had the one Shandy bc I wanted to stay on my feet. Kristy collects beer. She approved. We talked beer a lot on the livestream. We even had a jolly German friend. Shandy and 60 min were mentioned multiple times. And the mythical spotted cow, which … I’m still not sure exists)
